Inverter direct drive centrifugal chiller
A centrifugal chiller with an inverter direct drive and two stage compression. An aerodynamically optimised compressor and a flooded evaporator lower consumption at part load, delivering excellent seasonal efficiency in large buildings.
The inverter direct drive removes gearbox losses and allows operation at reduced speeds when the load drops, where a centrifugal chiller achieves the greatest savings. The aerodynamically optimised compressor maintains high efficiency for most of the season, when the system rarely runs at full capacity.
