Magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller
A centrifugal chiller with a magnetic bearing and an oil free drive. A high speed permanent magnet motor and direct drive with a flooded evaporator reduce losses and noise, for the highest efficiency and minimal maintenance.
The magnetic bearing removes mechanical contact and the need for oil lubrication, eliminating the friction losses and heat transfer degradation that oil causes in conventional systems. The result is high efficiency at part load, very quiet operation and reduced maintenance needs.
